LM2D is a laser based, non-contact volumetric belt conveyer scanner for flow measurement of dry products on conveyer belts. LM2D is a direct replacement of load cells and can be installed quick and conveniently, without stopping the belt. The instrument features a non-contact laser scanning head and integral Doppler Radar speed sensor. LM2D does material profile scanning and speed measurement in a single unit with output of material flow and additional totalizer function of mass throughput calculation.
